Pam Weisenburger

Speech Language Pathologist

Meet Pam Weisenburger

I have worked as a speech language pathologist for over 20 years in many settings. Initially, my career path lead me to adult neurological rehabilitation, primarily working with patients following traumatic brain injuries and strokes. Several years later, I became interested in serving patients with communication and swallowing disorders in long term care settings and made that my job for close to 5 years. For the past 16 years, I have worked exclusively in pediatric speech language services, serving school-age populations and working in private practice for Hyman Hearing and Speech Center. Working with children and their families to facilitate growth of communication skills is challenging, interesting, rewarding, and outrageously FUN! Kids learn best through play, so our sessions always involve a good dose of shenanigans while incorporating communication skill development. I am a graduate of the University of Toledo (B. Ed.) and Case Western Reserve University (M.A.). I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and state licensure from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I am a proud mother of 3 fine young gentlemen who keep me on my toes at all times! My husband and I adore culinary adventures, outdoor fun, and restoring our 100 year-old home.
